"Magma", the second single from Daniel Haaksman´s upcoming album "Sonido Lava" puts pressure on the dancefloor. With a set of string stabs, a rolling UK funky inspired beat and a surprise bossa nova breakdown , "Magma" is a hot DJ tool ready to get clubs in volcanic excitement.

"Magma" pays tribute to mid 90s club music, where playing different music genres in one set was a discipline for the experiened DJs. In a time before CDJs and software based DJing, these rhythmically eclectic tracks were perfect club tools, such as anthems like "I Am Ready" by Josh Wink or "Set U Free" by Planet Soul. These were tunes where DJs could switch from house tempo to rap or electro funk BPMs with the option to go back again to house tempo. In the case of "Magma" it´s all about sliding from 128 to the 97 Bpm bossa break!
