Tierra mágica como ninguna De una potencia que casi hiere,  que casi mata.  Ella me embriaga,  me arrebata,  y me purifica.  Puedo escuchar tu voz,  puedo sentir tu fuerza. Me arrebata, me mata, me embriaga.  Los vientos, los soles, las aguas,  la hacen despertar.  Me purifica, me enciende, ilumina.  Me llena de vida.  Tierra de Fuego, Tierra de Vida.

about

Man Recordings is happy to announce the release of the new single "La Mujer Dormida" by Daniel Haaksman which features Berlin based, Chilean singer MALAGÜERA on the microphone.

“La Mujer Dormida” (“The sleeping woman”) is inspired by a volcano in Mexico called Iztaccíhuatl, between the state of Mexico and Puebla. This volcano also received the name “The sleeping woman", because its form resembles the one of a woman lying on her back. In Aztec mythology, Iztaccíhuatl was a princess who died in grief waiting for her beloved and the gods turned her into a volcano covered in snow.

The song lyrics of “La Mujer Dormida” are also based on the poem "Volcán Osorno" by Chilean poet Gabriela Mistral, in which she admires the Osorno volcano and its surrounding landscapes, near lake Llanquihue, in the very south of the huge Latin American continent. In the song lyrics, MALAGÜERA talks as if she was in love with the flame mountain, admiring and adoring it, getting intoxicated by its beauty, its landscape and powerful force.

This is the first single from the 4th album, "Sonido Lava" by Daniel Haaksman, scheduled for a spring 2023 release.
